WHO hearing aids guidelines

An estimated 250 million people around the world have hearing loss and could benefit from using a hearing aid. More than 160 millions of them live in developing countries.

In adults hearing loss affects the ability to obtain, perform and keep a job. And in children it affects language formation and cognitive and social development. Hearing loss causes people to be isolated and stigmatized.
